“I consider myself a warrior and a healer. As a child I did not understand the strength in my bloodline, but as I’ve gotten older I realize my purpose is to give and lend my strength in self-preservation to other women. My mother’s lineage runs through my veins… Our Maroon Indian blood has always guided me”. “Maroons derived from “Cimarron”, meaning fierce or unruly. 

Through my personal experiences, it has been my mission here in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, to create community and empower women through retreat and other group experiences.”

I began CasaElm, a  relocation service for women and families, in 2022 and I believe in creating spaces for women that assist in the journey of healing traumas that life often dishes out. Sometimes we as women find ourselves lost and wondering how we got to where we are in life— Oftentimes, saddened or unfulfilled.” I created our Peace Not Pieces retreat that is provided within the safe haven of CasaElm. It helps women reclaim their power, voice, internal intuition, emotional space and through self-reflection, sisterhood and the encouragement to find the peace they need to carry on.

Being a healer and warrior spirit has given me new purpose in this new chapter of my life. I feel that self preservation is the blanket cover for ourselves and our children.”
